Not sure....... of anything. Got up at 3:00 am to start this day. Not hopeful and down and despairing. I want to feel connection. I don't feel that and think I never will. So lonely to go out to start the day and be alone with my pain and struggles. Where I work I have to be the strong one (teacher) and yet I am close to the edge. I just wish someone would hold me and not let go.

How are your relationships with family members, maybe a SO, friends?
Having a connection with people is a large part of what defines us as humans, but for some of us this can be so hard to get. A lot of this comes from childhood, where we learn the skill to form connections. I'm so sorry you are feeling so lonely - I know the feeling all too well. Just know that this is the depressions and not you. You can rise above it.

Thanks sugarhorse1. Good relationships with family and spouse. Good.... not close. I can't talk to them about any of this. They have NO idea. Thanks. Sometimes someone saying they understand and are sorry really helps. Thanks also for saying there is hope.
Time now to try to get rolling for work....ughhh

I also get most of my connection from this forum and some online friends, as well as a T

Feel free to share with us here. It helps because a lot of us understand things others don't. Everyone here is very nice and not judging. We're here for healing. I hope your day went better than expected.

Yup, my day went ok, in fact I was able to help out a distressed colleague. Made me feel good. Also had a productive time with T even though it didn't go so great. Spent the past 2 hours at a horse barn and that helped round out the long day. Nothing like the smells, sights and sounds of animals to pull one out of a crummy place. Don't know what to share really. Don't want to feel like I'm moaning but I can see that ..... maybe talking about things is good for you???? Scary territory for me.

Little me, I love posting here and on my blog. It's a way to put ideas away and come back to them if I need to. The people on this board are so great.

Talking it out is good, doing it here is great. You can moan, rant, vent, even we will laugh sometimes too. Good to let it out somewhere safe like here, don't want to stuff it in. I don't have a good real life support network either. My animals listen to me and love unconditionally.
