I carry my baby 12 blocks for trick or treat.

Just kidding. Mostly I walk and I always take the stairs when the option is available.

I take the stairs too, unless I am with people who prefer to take the elevator to the third floor - yikes.

I walk allllll over campus. My University has a major parking problem. I used to always take stairs but my knee has gotten worse as I get older. I can walk all over the place on level ground but climbing flights of stairs is too hard on me now.

I am envious! I grew up in a cold climate and California just does not do it for me in the winter.

California winters are blahhh... I do not enjoy... although, up here we get at least a small amount of snow at some point. So if you will brave highway 17 and meet me, I can take you up to the snow, I have an all-wheel drive.

For exercize, I'm erratic. I have such trouble keeping a schedule with life. I try to do something that makes me break a sweat daily. Today, my son and I played volleyball, and tossed the football, and I did some air kickboxing to release some anger. I always take stairs too when I can, and do yoga a few times a week, but only about 15 mins at a time. I need to go to classes I think to keep me in line, and to lose the weight.

Karate training three times a week and working out at the gym also three times a week. But less gym and more karate when there's a competition coming up

I usually bike, run or swim every day. Lately work and kids' schedules haven't allowed me more than a few times a week and I notice it. Did a spin class this morning and going outside for a group ride with the local bike store. It is going to be freezing riding but it gives me a rush of energy. Trying to shed some lbs. too.

Since starting my new job, I have very little time to enjoy my new bike. I used to take a variety of classes at a local gym, but we moved too far away for me to continue. Lately my exercise only consists of traveling up and down the stairs at work. Something I do endlessly because the school is huge!
