I was recently diagnosed with a mood disorder. I feel like I've been coping well, and my medicines make me feel less irritable and I feel slightly less manic.
Although, I think my depression is getting worse.
I've talked to my doctor about it and she doesn't want to change my meds.
Any tips to try to stay out of the dumps?

The standard "exercise, healthy diet, getting outside daily and good sleeping habits"
All of those things are very important for any ones mental health. Up beat music can also help.

I try to exercise and such, but my asthma tends to get in the way with that.

My son uses his inhaler before he exercises and only does karate. He gets his energy out w/o much moving.
