Help me help me help me!!!

I know this is asking a lot, but please, click through a couple photos on http://photos.creativeshot.com/p91694700 (password 1234567) and let me know which ones you like. The photos are a multinational co-creation of a French photographer, a Russian make-up artist and a Vietnamese hairdresser. The hairdresser straightened my curly hair without asking me (she said that what she would do would accenuate the curls...no way). My regular hairdresser who specializes in curly girls like me is booked for three months out, and I need pictures now, so we have to choose from what we have. They all look weird to me, almost like it is not me, because it is that weird to have straight hair. I am also upset that my face is so fat, but this is not something any hairdresser can help with

. I certainly prefer the more oblong shape. That fat makes even my eyes look small, although the make-up artist did a great job bringing out their green.

Oh Hammy, you are a beautiful lady!

I like you in blue better than green. Blue makes you look alive.

I like pictures 4, 16 and 41 the best. I think 41 is my absolute favorite.

Tough to pick with so many of them!

2, 14, 53 and 156 (for an indoor shot, though I think the outdoor ones are better). While in general I agree about the blue, 53 is adorable.

(And yup, did look at all of them. Fast photo scan/decision is one of my super powers, lol.)

I think that 51 is professional and caring. I would def go with 51

It would appear that you are going for a professional look. In that case I would avoid the pics that have you looking casual. the first and last set are the most professional. Smiling in the corporate world is not a great thing. You want to come across as strong and reliable. that's why I would def go with 51. It looks strong, caring, and capable. it's the pic of a person that I would choose to sell my home and handle my finances.

I'm assuming that cuz of the need for choosing it now that it is business related. I'm really sorry if I read that wrong and you need it for a christmas card or such. I would still choose the pic even if it's meant to be casual just cuz of how it comes across.

I like 7 and 8 the best.

It depends on what you're going to do with them, too.

The outdoor shots make you look more alive and real.

The slight head tilt with a smile makes you look more trustworthy and confident.

I need them for 1) LinkedIn - it is the only social network I am on, not because I like social networks but because being a professional in Silicon Valley I must have a LinkedIn account to be employable 2) dating sites to build profiles - on my todo list 3) possibly in the future a FB account if my son who has a FB account wants to communicate with me this way - I have not seen him since 2009

For LI I need one headshot in blue. For dating sites I can have several shots. The cost of an additional picture is 15 dollars, so I can get several.

Trustworthy and confident would be valuable for LinkedIn, right?

Well... thank you! The photographer did ask whether I want to show my full body or just the upper body and I went for the upper body only. Hence, you are not seeing the midsection. The worst part is the midsection.

Gosh, Hammy,
You look great! You are very hard on yourself in your posts. Along the way, I missed that you have a son. I only knew of your two daughters. I hope you can reconnect with him. Just in the time I have known you, you have changed so much. I am sure he would like to know the "new" you. I don't really have a favorite photo. I found it more interesting to flip through and get to know you. Thanks for sharing!

I agree with this^^...the way you have described yourself Hammi I really did believe I was on the wrong page?

I would select one of the pictures in the green outfit and smiling with your head tilted a bit.
