Actually you are absolutely right! It is the inner child that holds the emotions, not the adult self. You gotta let the child have those feelings but nurture that child too. Comfort and support the child as he needs that space. Psychology my friend. Hugs to you and your inner child.

Ah well, it would be great if it was all as easy as that. Sometimes the child-self wants to blow up the whole world and that would be a bit messy. And if we could just take charge, all problems solved, pfft! No, but getting awareness helps I guess. It's deep, my friend, very, very deep.

Oh well there are good bits to the child-self, taking joy in silly pictures and the odd chuckle here and there. But I'll get a little deep with you now because I trust you. I have DID which means I have other little personalities that go ahead and do there own thing. Bloody annoying! Frustrating and eventually I find the little trail of interesting things the little buggers have left behind. Sposed to nurture and support them, how can I do that when I don't know what the F they are doing!
