I have a question for you, I see your on Abilify, so Am I. Your on 15 mg? I'm on 4mg about to be raised. How do you feel on it?

well, 5 mg. made me anxious. 7.5 made me lethargic. 10 made me just ok. 15 mg. brought back so much energy it's not even funny. but it's the one drug that is making the most difference for me.

Hmm, okay. . . It makes a difference for me too, so I don't want to get rid of it. My family wants me off of it though, but I'm the one with Bipolar II, shouldn't I have the decision to make?

relaxation music makes me feel sad also.

i like listening to it.. but i find if i listen to it for a long time i feel like i've lost someone or something bad's happened- and i just start feeling upset

Maybe the meditation is like the medication - if you end up feeling sad you probably won't want to keep it up, so try adjusting the dosage. I don't know how much time you spend meditating, but even if you have to cut it down to literally one minute (and do it a few times during the day) to avoid feeling sad that is still better than dropping it entirely. If in your mind you start to associate feeling sad with meditation, it will change how you feel about meditation. That can be worse than not meditating at all. I think that if you are patient with yourself you can get past the sadness and learn to enjoy meditation so that when you stop you still want more.
