Got my new truck today. Sad to part with the rental mini-van, but all good things must come to an end. lol
This one doesn't throw ya back in the seat like the last one did, but that's a good thing because that's what got me in this mess in the first place.

I almost had a heart attack when I saw what the insurance was gonna be: $442/ month!!!. But then I got to searching and calling and found that my old truck was still on the new policy. A quick phone call got the 1st truck dropped and brought the monthly payment down to $220, which is less than my monthly premium before the accident!

Scheduled to see the new little lady again on Sunday during the day before I go to work. Gonna meet in the middle, take her for a spin in the new truck, then jump in her ride to go see a lady about a horse she was looking at. Should be a good time.

Still haven't had any correspondence from the police, other than them returning my registration and insurance cards and providing a form to request the accident report, which I can't even submit until 15 days after the incident.
I wish it would just magically disappear, but I figure it won't. Been on quite a roll of accepting responsibility for my actions in the past year, no matter what state of mind I was in at the time. No more excuses!

I will let y'all know what happens next. And if in a few weeks I disappear for a while, you'll know they sent me to the slammer.

Well glad things are working out well for you and I'm sure they won't send you to the slammer for an accident. I got a DUI and only went to jail for the night. Glad you got a new truck and was able to get rid of the awesome mini van lol keep us updated

Well I rolled my truck and blocked a state road. Blew a .163, and have my CDL. So that's over 4 times my legal limit. The DUI is a comin'. But thanks for your support
