as stated in other threads i'm currently on 400mg lamictal, and 30mg lexapro, and still suffer from constant racing, obsessive thoughts, along with horrible restlessness. I will discuss all 7 meds below with my p-doc.

Geodon
Risperdal
Haldol
Topamaz
Prozac 10mg( as stated by hamsterbamster a low dosage seems to help)
Anafranil(clomipramine)
Wellbutrin

Between Geodon and Risperdal, Geodon to me has a far more benign side effects profile, but is also far more expensive. Basically, Geodon does everything that Risperdal does, but the side effects are not so disastrous.

Why is Topamax on your list? Do you have migraines, epilepsy, or what? For bipolar, it is hardly the first line of defense med.

If you liked Risperdal, then by all means ask for a repeat.

Depends, I usually give meds two weeks before I judge them. Early side affects start to go away by then and they should start working but I'm no P-Doc.

Saphris has been a life saver to me. Stopped my severe depressive mood swings and I can function during the day which I could not on Seroquel.
