I dont mind slow walkers in general... Just the ones in malls who randomly stop in the middle of a walkway to stare at God alone knows what! But thats more to do with HATING shopping, than the walkers, they just worsen the experience so much more...

i really don't like know it alls

people that say, okay.. i don't need any help, i know it all- then later actually find out they havon't a clue and run back to try and get the information they need... sheesh... just admit that they need help to begin with?

same with people who pretend to talk about something without having a clue what it's about

like if someone is talking to someone else about a tv show and they are like, olh yeah... i watched that- and it was all really good.. but in all honesty, they don't know what the programme is about- they just try to talk about it to look cool
attention seekers... people that say something like, oh... i really hate my life, it's the worst, i'm going to kill myself now- and say it over, and over again... the type of people where you could offer them all the help in the world (medication, therapy, etc) but they don't want to accept it- they just want to rant on about how they don't want to be here... i can understand those types of people if they would accept at least a listening ear... but the people i'm talking about don't want any help at all

hmm what else

perfictly able people not doing tasks just because... " i can't be bothered", or putting it off and off and off and off... not because they are doing anything- but because they just can't be bothered with it.. so the people that just sit their, and say, oh i'll do it later, i'll do it later, and never do it.

again... i'd understand if it was a disability or mental illness, but these people are just your every day lazy type

people that say something... i'll be here at a certain time on a certain day, and when you ask them why they never showed up... the anser is, oh i've far more interesting things to do- if you say something, then do it

will post more later...

I hate it when people clam up and won't communicate and resort to "I don't know" and "Whatever" comments..... That just fuels my anger.

Certain words really annoy me. I like want to scream when I hear them in certain contexts.

Also people who stand to close or look over my shoulder.

In defense of slow walkers....

I have a neurological illness that is probably MS. I look perfectly fine but if I do not walk slowly I get terrible cramps and spasms in my legs and back. I've had people get mad at me for being so slow but I am doing the best I can.

Please be patient next time someone is slow.

Due to my racing thoughts, I have a tendancy to make sudden stops when I'm walking, especially in a mall. The distractions and the randomness of my mind will just cause me to stop like to look at something or to check my phone for no reason.... So, yeah, I'm sure I make people mad. LOL.

I hate it when people don't say, "Thank you." Gets on my last nerve that such a basic simple easy thing can not be done when someone does something for you. Ughhh. See, I get mad just thinking about it LOL

When someone leaves the trash can lid open is the biggest one for me. Also the turn signal one. Absolutly makes me angry. And well i tend to drive a little fast... so slow drivers would be another one. I have so many though so i had to just pick the ones that bug me the most. But number one would be the trash lid. .

When its 1000 degrees in my room and cold all over the house. It makes me so angry that I have to waste heat because my room is a furnace, I miss my old house where the radiator was broken and I had no heat all year round. It didn't even bother me, that should tell you something, that I wasnt cold even the most freezing of weather, as long as the window was closed I was good!

I only have one pet named Peeves. the other one is named Tilly. lol....

Peeves and Tilly.... what a two those are....lol...

actually it's sunny and tilly.

but my peeves are these....

I hate it when I get put in a box, categorized as mentally ill and brushed aside as just another Bipolar person.

get to know me.... i'm more than just mentally ill
get to see things differently.... we are not all the same
don't just disregard everything I say cuz I have a mental illness... I make sense too
don't blow me off... thinking everything I say and do is cuz I have bipolar illness.....
Thanks for this!

Haha, Dan -- just think, you could name them Peeve One, Peeve Two, Peeve Three...
Tnt, so agree on the flippant use of the word "bipolar".
Shattered -- I don't know for sure, but have heard that telemarketers use a thing that dials something like 10 numbers at a time, then connects whichever one is the first to pick up, and drop all the other numbers, leaving empty air. Could be that. Would explain why they keep at it too. Maybe the empty air isn't so bad when you consider the alternative peeve-maker...

I will say that slow walkers annoy me too, though... it's hypocritical as I'm sure I'm pretty slow when really depressed. Also now, much to the chagrin of my normally fast-walking self, when my hip/leg act up. I'm hugely self-conscious about it, especially, because like jadzea, I "look" totally fine. Sooo, actually it's more often it's a case not of slowness per se, but situational --things like tourists dawdling 3 wide blocking entire sidewalks or people who grocery shop in groups, lingering over and discussing every item like there's no one else trying to shop. Add the cart, and it really fries my bacon.

Anyhow(!) People using cell phones while interacting with clerks or servers in a restaurant (triple argh! points for giving dirty looks when the person must ask a question such as how they'd like their eggs. And while on the topic of cell phones... long and loud ringtones. I was in a post office one day trying to figure out why they had a loud radio intermittently playing. And on different stations(!) Ok, thick on my part for awhile, but still...

Nicely letting someone know they've left their lights on and getting snapped at. Sorry for trying to save you from having to deal with a dead battery! Doesn't happen so much anymore because I keep my yap shut realizing that apparently most people are lucky enough to not have to deal with this particular bane of the space cadet's existence anymore.

Oh, there are soooo many one hardly knows where to start...
