Hi I have bipolar disorder and I was on different combinations before ,to make it brief now I am on 20mg lexapro,10 mg zyprexa(olanzepine),200 mg lamictal, adderall 10 mg and ativan 1 mg twice .I am wondering about lamictal's dose because I still feel the ups and downs and the other symptoms like:confidence ..etc.I am better now ,but I think my psychiatrist shopuld increase lamictal for me.
thank you

First, Lamictal helps stablize your mood, it has nothing to do with confidence. I am on Lamictal and take 200mg. I had been on up to 400mgs (which is the max) but had to reduce it because it is an anti-seizure med and I am on ECT. I have still had some variability in my mood states but a small increase of Abilify from 10mg to 15mg seems to have helped.
