Ugh....
At the one year point of my ex walking out, I swore off relationships for a year... That lasted about a month.  One of the mom's at my kid's school (Yes, she is single!) and I hit it off.... We have been (had been) playing it SUPER slow.... The other night, I was kinda buzzed.... Ok, I was drunk.... Trying to be cute, I made some suggestive texts.... Nothing that I thought was obscene.... A little edgy, but..... Apparently she saw it differently.. FML

First rule: never text or tweet or facebook or post or randomly call people while drunk
Secondly... I don't think this is necessarily a lack of social skill but more not understanding where your relationship was. There are a lot of ifs to this that you didn't post about the relationship.

i am not the most social person.
can't stand to be around people, can't start a conversation, can't keep a conversation going (even if someone else starts it) |

So... what social skills do you have to apply now to make it up to her, take responsibility for your texts, and blah blah blah ie close the book on this one but try to salvage your rep and not look or feel like a douche anymore?

Hankster u can always make me laugh.
I had some poor and drunken social skills other night. Texted the bf poured my heart out pages long, I feel lonely and left out, I want my lover to be my best friend I want a family. And all he wrote back, 'k' Soooo yea ur not the only one who messes up with the social skills |
