Is there a chat room specifically for Bipolar support? I think that would be a good outlet for me, but I am not finding it. I would like to speak with others that suffer from Bipolar and positive ways to distract or deal with the symptoms. I am very overwhelmed today. I just recently went through a 2 week depressive state where I couldn't even bring myself to take a shower. I think I showered twice in that two week period and that is not me. I did not even notice it until a friend and I spoke about it. That is not me at all. I usually bathe everyday. I couldn't find motivation or energy to do anything but set on the couch depressed and I feel like I'm rotting on the inside. I need help. I have another checkup tomorrow with my psychiatrist, but in the meantime am looking to find an outlet and a support system. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I used to lead a group here for depression and bipolar, but life made it impossible to continue. If you would like a chat room for those with bipolar, you can create a room in the general chat application.

They presented him the words: "And this, too, shall pass away." How much it expresses! How chastening in the hour of pride! How consoling in the depths of affliction! ---"Address before the Wisconsin State Agricultural Society". Abraham Lincoln Online. Milwaukee, Wisconsin. September 30, 1859. |
