Oh damn.

I took my sleep meds and my last stupid seroquel and had to get up 4 times to let step sons dog out .. so I missed the "golden hour of taking sleeping med ! So I am wide awake !!!!!!!!!!! The husband is snoring like Fred Flintstone .. I am not kidding at all.

I have decided to have my nose re pierced.. Had it done a couple years ago but a trip to they psych ruined that So I'm redoing it. My husband will say his typical " why would you do that ? " ... " that's for younger people" " I think it's silly " blahblahblah. If he really throws a hissy fit I may have a few more things pierced ! Ha ! I'm 46 for crying out loud I am not too old for this stuff !

Im 47 not 74 for crying out loud!

If you already had it pierced before, he should know it's part of who you are to do those things. You're not too old. I say be young as long as you can! It's not like you're getting your whole face tattooed or anything.

As for dogs... I'm not really a fan, especially now living with Her Royal Majesty....

I say all the power to you with getting a piercing. I have a family member who's spouse responded the same way and all I can say is that today's society is different. its appropriate to be an "alternative" adult no matter what the age.

LOL ! My husband got all kinds of pissed off when I did it over a year ago or maybe a bit longer I guess. he knows my Tattoo has deep meaning for me, so he knows not to make a peep about that , well it is cool as hell looking!

We were in walgreens last week and I saw hair Chalk .. I was like O M G I want to try that. he rolled his eyes.

He will just have to deal with things or ignore me , I think screaming blue hair chalk would look great on my black hair

My dog never wakes me up in the middle of the nite but the step sons dog ... hes pretty stupid . I cant wait for him ( step son) to pay the pet deposit and come get him and keep him ,

Screaming blue hair chalk on black hair would be pretty awesome. I love colored hair. I've had every color dyed (with Manic Panic) LOL. I don't now because of my job. "Th Man" doesn't appreciate creatively colored hair in the professional world.

Hair chalk doesn't even sound very permanent, so I don't see why he should make a big deal of that.

My Walgreens doesn't have hair chalk!!! Why is Tennessee pushing the fashion frontiers ahead of Florida??!

I just bought feathers for my hair at my Walgreens and got all excited--SHEESH!!

Yes, I've been wanting nose stud as well as tattoo. Tell your hubby that, & that I'll be 67 in March. Long Live my Sixties Self!!! No wonder my soul loves in New Mexico ...

You can also check the web site and see if they have a feature to locate items in the store. Most stores have that now.

Hair dye is more productive than cutting. Stay safe, dye your hair.

I don't want you to cut yourself...
some of the dumbest 'observer' words in the world they are right there!

cos it...doing that...?...makes no sense unless it just happens to....

cutting...bleeding and getting on with it

just a part of life

the only reason I go here with you...apart from the other reasons I go here with you too...like

UMM?...I know you are marvelous and delightful!

...cutting can be such a casual thing, few cuts here couple cuts there little bits of satisfaction emerge out of the shattering pain within...

I used to do it too...but I'm an extremist Christina...I never was satisfied with the little incisions the surgical strikes on my body I went on full attack!...

and those with skill re-attached my hand...oops!

Christina ...are you feeling trapped in your world and you want to break free?

..and are you blaming yourself for things way out of your control?

I color my hair every 2 weeks.. I started coloring at age 15 due to grey hair!! Yes 15 years old ! It was 75% gray when my father started his battle with leukemia.. 18 months later he lost his battle.. There hair way grey in there 20's ,, so I had no excape 100% grey/white at that point. I'm 46 almost 47 and no way could let it grow out. Both my parents were grey in there 20's . Yes I was doomed ! My Brother has the gray and it looks awesome .. I would look like a homeless hag !

I have been snipping here and there for weeks ( my mom and I had our own beauty shop LOL ) But Yes .. Today is all about distraction~

Well, I am back, weather is just that lovely nasty horrid mix of rain, sleet, ice and howling winds .. It make my pain even more a delight to handle.

My nose is pierced, wasn't as painful as I had hoped for. Oh well maybe I will find other painful things to do that will at least focus all my pain on one specific area instead of everydamnwhere.

James .. I love you my friend, Don't be worried about me, ok?

Blue .. just go do it !
