I wonder if I've made the right decision?
Dumped my new part time retail job, after only 4 days. I just wasn't comfortable in a retail environment where I didn't know where anything was located and learning so many things -- too anxiety provoking. Plus to make minimum wage with a college degree at age 50 - ughh. I guess that is my ego getting the better of me. I can probably do the job OK but just don't want to. So now I'm stressed again wondering if I'll have enough cash flow to pay the divorce support money I will need to be paying now, which I don't know how much it will be yet but have a good idea based on attorney's feedback. I have a full time job and very part time business already. But plenty of expenses. I have iffy plans now to start another business (or an additional service) on zero capital (I've started two successful ones in the past on almost zero capital, one I still have) now instead -- but my stress level is telling me I'm making a mistake dumping the "bird in the hand" part time retail job which would have provided $500 a month or so. ![]()
