Didn't know where to put this because I don't have schizophrenia or psychosis or anything, so I think I'll just blame it on bipolar or something since I have that. But just a few minutes ago I heard another voice, well it is only the 2nd time it has happened, and the last one was a couple months ago, and it was a male voice that said shut up. This time it was a woman's voice that said, hello? It freaks me out and I'm shaking. My pdoc said last week that she thinks I'm in an elevated episode but that was because I wasn't sleeping much but now I am, and she told me to up my fanapt dose but I haven't yet, pretty much out of laziness. I don't feel elevated. I don't really know what's going on.

Hopefully it does not continue. Try not to panic, it's late could you be tired? Hope you're ok. A lot of bp ppl seem to have occasional random hallucinations its weird but I have some minor stuff sometimes too.

I've had things like that several times. It always takes you by surprise. But try not to be afraid. They can't hurt you .

You came to the right place kris many of us experience things similar to what you describe, just yesterday I kept seeing bugs crawling, except there are no bugs in my room... Think I'm just a tad stressed though, so they don't bother me much, not to mention I'm a bit too used to seeing and hearing things that obviously don't exist.

Don't be scared, like Moose said, they can't harm you, hope the experience isn't repeated, I can see how disconcerting it is for you.

Yeah, I get those little voices, too. Not very often. For me they seem to come in groups. Like if I have one, I'll have a few more within a few days of each other, then they will stop.

They always freak me out. Only twice have been able to understand what they are saying.

I have whole conversations in my head all day long i considered schizophrenic, at least that and depression was my diagnosis. The voices can be scarry, i have to actually turn on the radio or play the piano to get them to go away, i'm a spazz, vegetable, after an accident, hit my head on the windshield and have many other head injuries in the past.

I can't believe it, those voices were the beginning of my descent into a psychotic episode I had for a few weeks. I'm now dx with Schizoaffective disorder. Does make sense now though. I've heard and seen all sorts of strange things now.

At least now you and your treatment team have a better understanding of your illness. Hopefully this knowledge will be enough to help prevent further psychotic episodes. Stay strong.
