This was how my sleepless night was spent, I have no experience nor money to invest! But I downloaded several free phone apps and decided i could learn all and this would be the way to strike it rich, lol, zero interest in it tonight

stocks that are going to do anything more than to sit and fluctuate more than pennies on the dollar are VERY high risk. It's a lot like playing the lottery. the new up and comers that you can buy for cheap are a gamble... the company is either going to flop or make it big, and not too many companies can sustain the kind of growth that would be required to make you rich on your investment. and even when there is substantial growth, it evens out and can even bottom out in the blink of an eye.

I would highly suggest going through a brokerage that specializes in investments.

I did have a broker through my pension plan, lost about $40k. Cashed it out couple years ago at $30k, thats the amount after i had to give up half to government for early withdrawal. Had to live off that money, it's long gone. But the doctors are rich off me and my kids mental torment.

Well, there are "play money" sites that can help you learn to invest. iTunes U has some courses that talk about investing too

It requires too much patience. I think that you will lose interest as quickly as you developed it.
