Jamesy is a bit overwhelmed at the moment and not up to posting yet, and says he is very touched by all the support he recieved here from his friends.
He didn't give me details but said court didn't go well, he's lawyer screwed up somewhere along the line, so he has to reappear in May.... gosh I hope I have the month right, my mind is too full of all the little things going wrong this evening, I may have to give a proper update tomorrow bcoz he mailed me at work.

Thanks for the update, Trippin! I know it's hard for you to post with your phone being all messed up. (Hopefully you can get a new one soon.)

Sounds like dubblemonkey needs an angel in his courtroom next time. and perhaps a different lawyer....

Well, as long as James has to reappear in 6 weeks, the courts may be trying to help him out a little with an opportunity to provide more positive evidence in James' favor. I hope so. He deserves a BREAK!

Take care, Trippin, thanks for the update.

trippin' - Don't stress about that you probably thought May because both months have M's at the beginning.

James- I'm so sorry , hopefully the next court date goes overwhelmingly positive.

I have a friend her husband is always in trouble with the law. Every time he gets done with one thing anothe jumps up. It's like he has a devil on his back. He's been in jail, tons of court dates, and now second time with ankle monitor. They go through this all the time.

But, you know, it will be "today is court, something went wrong, another hearing in so many weeks." And although he has a devil on his shoulder, I think she has an angel on hers because he always gets the slap on the wrist. He should be in prison by now, for violating the same laws over and over, they threaten every time. Like 1-2 years. But, no, it's always ankle monitor and probation. They have had crummy defenders a lot, too.

So.... this isn't necessarily a bad thing.
