Hey I just saw this link on a different forum for a brain training site, I did not try it yet but I think it is probably a lot better than luminosity in the money area since you can unlock things with neurons you earn to open new things... heh yeah earned neurons..

It actually looks really cool with all it offers.. quite a lot. I am going to try it out but I thought you both might want to give it a try too. There is a section on mental health issues.. I dunno what it's about but interesting.

Oh, thanks! I tried Luminosity but my free trial ran out already. I have a free memory thingy on my phone that is pretty much the same thing. I will try this one, though. I want one at home I can play without my phone. (At home, can't play on phone because baby gets mad that I'm not sharing, LOL.)

Luminosity is really expensive! I did sign up before and pay a couple months, but then my card was declined, and they cancelled me haha. Plus I'd forgotten to use it in that time, sheesh...

Haha Blue.. I had forgotten how expensive luminosity was, I just jump trials here and there. As if anyone would give me credit cards... with my percentage figuring out capabilities.... Getting me to understand interest rates would be interesting. I think I really need to work on my brain, not just the fun parts.

You are definately ahead of me on this one. Actually same for DH and Dan. I noticed you can play with friends, maybe I better get practicing.

DH I think you can use this on your pc and phone, and sync to your twitter account or facebook, maybe other stuff. I don't like syncing my stuff, but the apps would be cool. I could do it on my lunch break at work instead of sit silently with 12 other silent people. People don't like to talk while they eat .. It's weirds me right out.

Well, I didn't try it out yet. Last night instead I started learning how to do 3D modeling for video games instead....

I'm going to try it out soon, though. Right now on my phone I'm really into this little cave man theme park building game.... LOL.... >.>

My husband is making a game. He's been looking for assets (3D models) but it's sometimes hard to find what you're looking for. So he started working on making his own. Then I said I could help maybe. So now we're both learning. He's farther along than me in it because he's home. But last night I made a picket fence. It was a bit crooked but not bad.

I already know how to do some basic texturing because I play The Sims and for Sims 2 I used to retexture some of the clothes. That was a while ago, though, so I'm a bit rusty (and this is a lot more complex.)

That is so awesome. it sounds like a dream career!

I don't think so. I do the same thing. Sometimes I think "oh geez, I just replied to everyone." I wonder if people think I'm being a know it all sometimes. But, I think that may be more my paranoia than anything else.

I just worry that no one would tell me if I was being overbearing. like, if I was making the mornings all about me, or something like that.

All we can do is be ourselves. And, I wouldn't worry. I think we're all here for support and if you're responding to posts those poeple are getting the support they are looking for. You know?
