|
Can you just take it with a small snack or what?
Their website says to take it with a MEAL not just a snack. I have had weight loss surgery though so most of my meals are probably like a lot of peoples snacks. How much food do I need to be eating?

I would try it with a meal first, then try snacks once your body gets use to it. I often drank milk when taking my night dose of Geodon because it caused lack of appetite.

Is that right? If so it says approximately 500 calories is best. There's no way I can eat that much at one time. I hope I didn't pay $105 for something I can't use. My PDoc knows about my weight loss surgery.

Really? I was never told, though i was on it 10 years ago... i was part of a study to see if Geodon should be used to treat BP... I guess they didn't know much back then! Would explain a lot!
How many times a day will you be taking it? If its once you can take with your largest meal of the day.

I just take it once a day. My largest meal is supper and tonight it was only 240 calories total.

Well crap. From what I'm reading everything says 500-1000 calories is best. I guess I'll call back tomorrow. That agitates me. He KNOWS I can't eat much. We've discussed it in detail

It's been a while since I've been on meds, but I have never heard of having to eat so many calories to take a pill! Definitely talk to him, maybe there is another alternative
