I've been pretty high the past few weeks, and lately I've noticed some changes in my thoughts.

They're more disorganized. Everything is connected. But that is to be expected when one is manic and having racing thoughts.

I've also noticed, however, that I tend to get confused about the date and my location. I think that I'm in a different building, or that today is tomorrow, and then I catch myself. I know that these mistakes are fairly common, and they have happened to me before. But it happens several times a day now.

Furthermore, I've been having a lot of problems remembering words. I find myself talking in circles with people, trying to describe a common word that I can't quite remember with ten other words.

Despite all of this, I feel like my thinking is really clear, i.e. I can reason well. Probably better than usual. I readily see cause and effect relationships, and have done well on the past few quizzes that I took (which emphasized students' knowledge of concepts rather than probing for memorized information).

Does any of this come with mania? I've never been this high for this long before, so I wouldn't know. I'm scared; between this and an increase in misperceptions, I feel like I am losing my mind.

I don't have an answer... sounds likely related to mania...
Keep looking for answers

Sorry I have no answers either, but I agree with Blue; it sounds like mania.
Hope you can find some answers.
