I'm taking 400 mg of Tegretol (Carbamazepine) on daily basis in the last 3 months in addition to 150 mg of Viapax and 40 mg of Remeron. In the last 2 weeks additional 1,700 mg of Augmentin (Amoxycilin) to treat sinus infection. However my blood test revealed a concentration level of 2.5 (Carbamazepine)while the desired range is 5-10. What can be the reason/
cause for such low level?

Did I attempt to answer this question in another forum? I suggested you ask your psychiatrist and maybe even better, your pharmacist. Hope that helps!

I'm not 100% sure but it may be the antibiotic causing it.
