I'm wondering if its stress related? I've noticed just about every day in about the last 2 weeks, I have stomach pain, nausea etc. it's hard to describe because sometimes I feel nauseous like I'm gonna throw up, sometimes it feels like an upset stomach but it sometimes makes me feel like I'm hungry when I'm not. Anyone ever experience this? I do have a sensitivity to gluten that causes stomach issues but when I eat gluten I get stabbing pains and end up in the bathroom, nothing like I'm experiencing now. I also haven't changed my diet at all so I doubt it's food related.

The same thing happens to me when I drink coffee, feel anxious, don't get enough sleep, or go too long without eating...I think that I just have a really sensitive stomach, but if you're concerned, you should talk to a doctor.

That's a possibility. I just don't feel like I am anymore anxious or stressed than usual, except for being stressed out about my job. I guess it makes sense...I hate my job so much lately, my boss made me cry about 2 weeks ago.

Thanks for this!

I get bad stomach pain if I go too long without eating too. It sucks. Not enough sleep could be a factor aswell...I'm trying to change that but I may have to ask my dr for another prescription for Zopiclone. I havn't needed it in months but I find when I go through a really stressful time I have issues sleeping because my mind won't stop racing. I am trying to make my bedtome at 9pm, which worked for the first night but the second night I got too worked up to sleep and ended up going to sleep after midnight, and the third night I just couldn't sleep at all until about 11:30, then my daughter woke me up at 3am because she is starting to get a cold. Didn't get back to sleep until 5:30am because of my mind racing again, then was up at 6:30 because my daughter was awake. So yea, it's hard to get enough sleep.

I think everyone is right about suggesting that you see your psychiatrist. Stress can really do all kinds of things to us, including insomnia, nausea, pain, etc.

Do you eat foods with gluten at all since you appear to have symptoms of Celiac illness? You might wish to have a doctor do some testing to find out if you do have
that condition. If so, you need to remove grains from your diet completely. It will only get worse over time unless you eliminate grains when Celiac disease is present.

I hope you find the answer soon and that your boss quiets down a good bit.

Take care.

I have completely given up gluten for the last 2 years. My dr has told me I have a gluten intolerance. Eating it also makes my depression worse. I didn't get the intestine biopsy done because there's no point, I don't eat it anymore anyways.
I don't have a therapist, I just have my family dr who I've been seeing for my issues. My next appt is next month.

Well, since stress is a big factor in your life, a psychiatrist is best equipped to help
explain the best way to handle it for us, in my view.

Take care of yourself.

I'm actually really obsessing about the possibility of being pregnant. It pretty much feels like the nausea I had just before finding out I was pregnant with my daughter. I know it's highly unlikely seeing as I am on the Mirena but I can't stop thinking about it. It would really suck right now. I had spotting for a day or two then the nausea started right after and it's been going on now for about 2 weeks, just about every single day. I did take a pregnancy test last weekend and it was negative. Maybe it's all in my head.
