I'm having a really hard time tonight and I don't even know why...My head's spinning, someone's screaming in my head...I'm really scared, I'm afraid something's going to jump out at me in my own home...I feel sick; and I'm shaking...I want to scream...It's exactly 5 am and everyone's asleep but me...I don't know what to do other than to sit here and hope it goes away...

use that curl up position... knees to your chest, your head between knees, eyes closed... if you want press your hand against your ears... it might help for short time.. and scream inside your head... imagine you are screaming, sometimes imagination is as good as real thing... hope you fell better...

Does the voice feel like an internal voice (like a memory or you're own inner self talk) or a seperate person than you voice? Like someone is in your head? That's the key question here.

Music is good to drown out voices once you identify them. Distractions are good. When I get that feeling that people are coming up behind me, I sit with my back to the wall, and have a light on. It's silly but it's helpful.

I hope you got through the night. When I get like that Im like dark heart I put my back to the wall or something so I know nothing can come up behind me. I know it may seem silly but when your in the situation you gotta do what you gotta do. Update us so we wont worry please.

You can ask fear to tell you exactly what is going to jump out. Tell fear that he doesn't have the power to make something jump out. He is such a poor liar. Tell fear that all he can do is just to frighten you, that's about all he can do.

Tell fear that you are going to give him 5 minutes to make something jump up. Tell fear that after 5 minutes you are going to sleep. Ask him to wake you up if he manage to make something out of nothing. You want to see what it is.

Unless you are living in the wilderness or somewhere... then there is a cause to be concerned.
