I think she is going to work out perfectly!
I told me previous PDoc that the Lexapro he had me on helped my anxiety just as much as Prozac except the Lexapro was causing sexual problems. He said it was no big deal, just deal with it. My new doc said it is a big deal. When my family doctor was treating me for depression she put me on Wellbutrin. My new P doc says that the Wellbutrin maybe making things worse. She started me on Lamictal and is weaning me off the Wellbutrin. Then after that I will switch back to Prozac for my anxiety and just take Prozac and Lamictal. My family doctor thought I was Bipolar, my previous P doc said no it was Cyclothymia. My new Pdoc said she has a strong feeling that I am Bipolar type 2. I can't wait to start the Lamictal. The only problem is none of my local pharmacies carry the Lamictal starter packs so I'm waiting on one to come in. THey had to order it.
