Today has been like day 10 of being up and down, up and down. I call it my rollercoaster ride and i HATE this feeling. I have a psych doctor appointment tonight but as excited as I am to go and finally get help, I really want to cancel. All I wanna do is sleep. I am sick of work. I am sick of life. I am sick of not knowing what to do or where to go. Thought about going to the ER to get help for suicidal thoughts, but never made it there. Too afraid to lose my job if they committ me. Afraid to tell the doctor tonight that I am still suicidal cause she will for sure lock me up.

Ugh. I just want everything to END.

I hope you made it to your doctor's appointment tonight. And even if you did tell the truth and were sent to the hospital, it would be illegal for your job to fire you for it.

Your job cannot fire you for being "comitted" Also, you need to be 100% honest with your pdoc... My pdoc is the only person I am honest with besides my T.

Hope appointment went ok. They shouldn't commit you unless you're really on the brink and unsafe. Talking about the sui ideas is usually ok, and they can help talk you through it. Post here and call helplines too. Hope you're ok.

Appointment went good. New doctor is great. She listened and talked alot. Did tell her that i was suicidal but she didnt feel i needed to be committed. Have another appointment Friday to see how things are going.

I'm so glad to hear that it went well!! And I'm also glad you were able to tell her the truth. You usually have to be in a VERY bad place before they'll move you to a hospital. Keep us posted!
