So while it is unclear whether I am bp, the idiocy is clearly mine.

This morning, I finally took the car to the dealership for the fuse issue. I was giiven a loaner car with no real key. The technician started the car for me. I drove off and parked the car at work in the underground garage.

I had my therapy appointment midday.

The car would not start. I pressed on the button, it would light up saying ON or OPEN or something along the lines, but the engine would not start. I myself have a 1996 car with a real physical key. I have never operated one of the newer cars.

I tried calling the dealership, but there was no reception in the underground garage.

I left the garage and found a spot with reception. I talked to a guy named Brian from the dealership. Brian told me to press on the brakes before turning ON. That was so intuitive. Plus, when I was trying to start the engine, the dashboard showed BRAKES in flashing lights. The dashboard was trying to tell me something.

With all this happening, I was so late to therapy that she rescheduled for tomorrow.

I immediately gave up on the idea of buying vibrators for solo sex. I just cannot operate modern machinery.

I don't think I would ever attempt a key-less car.

There's too much crap on modern cars. I'm driving my old Ford until the tires fall off.

Had fun looking for my car in the garage today. Those new cars all look the same. My old car is unique, which helps me find it.

Oh heck yeah. Durn things. Well at least now I don't feel so stupid and old. I got a zipcar once, I hate those half electric things. You try to back up and you can't tell if they're still running or what. Ha ha. Well it keeps you young and challenged.

OK, that is how I will view it. I did figure out how to stop the wiper blades. Took me some time though.

While ex had my car, 2010-2013, I still had the keys. So I had keys without cars for almost three years. In comparison, I must admit, cars without keys are better than keys without cars!

I'm about half your age and wasn't aware that there were cars without keys...

I haven't been driving in a long time, though.
