I can. I have a new phone. Old phone was dropping call too often for my taste. I will have to not go out to eat for a few weeks to make up for it. Maybe more than that!

HAHA and how! Walk into the gun store and there sits one of these AR's everyone is talking about. I never wanted one, have no use for one, really can't afford one, yet somehow I absolutely must have it.

Long story short, I end up dropping $1700 on a firearm I'll probably never use for any practical purpose.

And the list of examples is endless...

I drop $20 on sushi when I could get a salad for $6. Does that count?

I do what my son-in-law (whose own mother has BP) calls "bipolar shopping". I've spent as much as $1000 in Wal-Mart. I've driven us into bankruptcy not once, not twice, but THREE times. So can I relate? Yep, I think so too.

Has taken a lifetime of this to realize I have an addiction... mood altering by BUYING stuff. So yeah, you have plenty of company here! eBay for sure, oh yes. There's a certain rush, however mild or fleeting, that comes with making a purchase. Particularly if you THINK you've gotten a great deal, yes? Something about giving yourself "treats" because you've paid your dues and deserve the happiness?

I work in retail which is the worst, I'm at the mall all day! I impulsively shop, but I'm cheap about it.. So like ill only buy stuff that's on a good sale, with coupons or with my employee discount. I still have way too much stuff to know what to do with, and haven't been able to save as much $$ ad I would have liked concidering I have been living rent free with my parents my whole like. Things sure will have to change when I move out!

I've been forced to "be good" cuz I shot my credit all to hell, only have one card now and it's secured. Sure do miss the days of free-spending! Of course there was never anything "free" about it. It all comes back to bite you in the arse!
Thanks for this!

I find that I may not spend a lot of money but I spend a lot of time at the store. I coupon so I can save like 60-80% whenever I got to the store but I find that I'm starting to buy things I don't need. Like Poise wash, when am I going to use that! I bought 3 cause it was free.......

I've been to the store almost every day this week... so Yes I can relate.

I buy books. Lots and lots of books.

I do know people who have bought cars and other high end stuff when manic.

There are times when I have urges to buy a one-way ticket to Europe.
Thanks for this!

I am doing Debt consolidation for the second time. When I became more reclusive, I started buying things online. My husband judges my cycles by how many packages show up at the door.
