Bub came out of special care yesterday and we are both going home from hospital tomorrow. Can't wait. Very excited and a bit nervous about how I will go with the sleep deprivation. The dirty washing is piling up and all the fresh food in the fridge will need to be chucked. So some shopping is in order too.
My heads running at a million miles per hour but there's nothing to do here while my little man sleeps. Very bored.

Can your H help with the washing?

Are you using cloth or disposables?

If you are using cloth, the very best wool pull-on diaper covers I have ever had were either from New Zealand or from Australia - not sure which, but definitely from your part of the globe. They were called Aristrocrats wool pull-on cover and were wonderful.

Seems like you have been in the hospital a long time. How long ago was he born? In the US, they probably would have sent you home even if your baby couldn't leave yet.

Did you settle on a name yet?

Congrats,
EJ

Hopefully hubby will help with the washing and shopping.
I'm using disposable nappies. But we do have great wool here.
They let me stay an extra night than usual because the paediatrician recommended it (mainly because we had no transport home today!)
They try to keep mum and bub together unless its obvious bub's going to be in for a while and my little man is going so well I got to stay.
