I was diagnosed with bi-polar about 6 months ago, but have wondered off and on for years if I was. Both my grandmother and older brother were diagnosed so I knew it was a definite possibility when the anxiety meds that I was given 2 years ago were only making things worse.
My H and I recently moved in the past year from IA to TX, so its been a year of changes, something that I've realized that I don't deal with well. I struggle with depression more than mania lately and have found myself in dark holes in the past 6 months. We just moved from an apt to a house here in TX and that has brightened my spirits; I am hoping that the brightness and openness of the house helps me more than the dreary apt did. Anyhow, just wanted to introduce myself and get out here to participate. |
