I will rehearse what I want to/am going to say when I see that person. Last night I did it for over an hour from 4am til 5am. .

Oh yeah...that $#!^ makes me batty!
I found that I listen to music to drown out my inner me.
I am a frickin lunatic sometimes...just can't shut my inner me up!
I was on some AD's that really did the trick for a while....racing thoughts is what my T and PDoc called it....perfect name too 'cause that is what they are...or like hitting the scan button on your car radio...a few seconds of the station and then on to the next one, and the next one, etc etc.
I will play ambient or space music just so I can think...it has no words...so its just background noise to calm my "brain" down.
Good luck with finding a med or a method to drowning it out as I know of no universal "cure" for it.
