Today is worse than it has been since my dose of zyprexa was increased a month or so ago. Even my friend today asked what was going on. I just feel drunk or high or just plain spacey. Its not a bad feeling, really, its just makes me want to sleep. I had two cups of coffee and now am drinking iced tea and that's barely helping. I also have had a headache all day which may be a mild migraine as it was in my eye. Luckily, Tylenol- the only med I can take for pain- has subdued it. Its still there, though. I'm also a bit nauseated, so this could be a migraine plus zyprexa or one or the other. I'm not sure which.

Oh, please be careful... Tylenol can make matters worse - it can cause rebound headaches

Rebound Headaches - WebMD.

Nausea points to the headache being a migraine.

I'm not taking tylenol that often. Its the only thing I can take outside of getting mega doses of benedryl in the ER.

So my head feels better now but I'm still tired. Maybe a nap would help. Its not like I didn't sleep last night, either. As I said, even my friends noticed how spacey I am today. If this IS the zyprexa, it better go away- with a quickness!

i felt that way when I was on too much lithium - just completely out of it and not there. My friends noticed and I also tapped a car ahead of me once - no damage, barely even a bump, but the woman got out in a rage and came over to my window threatening me - she backed off because I could hardly collect myself to even reply. maybe you should talk to pdoc if it's an ongoing thing. might be on too much!

Thanks. Pdoc thinks its Zyprexa and refuses to lower my dose. I feel stuck.

My primary dr took me off my preventative verapamil saying that all I need is topomax. We'll see how often I get migraines now.

This thing is very helpful:

Online Migraine Diary

It is like a mood tracker.

Maybe if you track for a month and print out for the primary, the primary will realize that you are in a lot of pain??
