Way to go James. Don't worry about tomorrow. For now just stay in the day. Tomorrow will sort itself out. Is there a quiet place you can go to sort your head out? When I was on the psyche ward for mania the detox people were all mixed in with the mentally ill. It worked fine but there were issues between people. It could get intense. I did a lot of pacing the halls, went to every group they offered to help me focus. I looked out the window a lot. I also found some quiet time in the laundry room.

That is great you are getting clean and sober. I am too. I'm not in a rehab. I just go to meetings and have a sponsor. I slipped Tuesday but was clean and sober all day yesterday...so I have 1 day. But I shared it with everyone in the meeting and came away with understanding and love.

Pray, say the serenity prayer alot...it helps me.

I am proud of you!
Thanks for this!

It's great you're working to be sober. I can imagine it would be hard to live with 120 other people. Hopefully you can transition to the other place.

Just keep in your mind that the goal is to be well and treat it like "high school" in that, sometimes you just have to ignore the other people around you. Just stick to your own business and not take what they say personally. Just remember they all come from something and you don't have to play into their games.

I wish you luck on your journey.
