Well first I went with a friend of mine while she shopped for boots at the mall. Then we went to Salvation Army so could spend some of my bday money. They were having a half off sale at 6:00 so I waited the 20 minuites after I was done shopping. Hard shopping for the sizes I need, but nice to get summer stuff that will FIT me! I have been wearing the same jeans and worn-out shorts since last year. If I'm gonna be fat then I'll buy cloths that at least fit me, right?!
 i even got two bras that I guessed at my size but they FIT! So TWO new pair of jeans, a pair of shorts, a nice top, some scrubs-lol.... Yes I got scrubs. To sleep in! hehe. I need more tops and I'll go back. I'm glad they have fitting rooms there because there were some items I'd picked up that didn't fit.

I like to shop at places like that, too--especially when I don't have a lot of money to spend when my weight goes up! I'm glad you had a successful experience.

I know how you feel since gaining weight through meds I hate to shop hate to look in the mirror. I found a shirt that fit then bought in in 3 different colors just not to hav e to try on more. I quess my mental heakth is worth it but I wish I did not have to gain the weight

I also hate shopping. I rarely find anything that I get excited about and usually end up crying because I'm so frustrated. I hate being fat. Also, fashion industry doesn't believe in girls shapped like me. We must be mythical creatures like unicorns, because they don't make clothes that fit my body type well. It's really rare to find anything that even looks good on me and not make me look like a tent.

I've gain lots of weight due to meds too. I generally don't care to shop since I had a bad manic ep. My ep involved shopping and I spent way to much money. Now I get nervous abt shopping. Since the weather is changing I know I'll need to shop. I forgot abt the Sal Army, thanks for putting them on my mind.

I also hate shopping cos i put weight on cos i am on Olanzapine.. But now i am on Abilify too my weight has been decreasing so i might go clothes shopping soon to get new smaller clothes!!
