Ever heard of deep breathing to initiate the relaxation response.

Just deep breaths in thru the nose making sure it makes your belly push out, not your chest. Then long, slow exhale through your mouth like you are blowing out cigarette smoke. Count to 4 during the inhale and exhale.

I know it sounds silly but it really works

Hi,
i encourage you to definately try Deep breathing
and take a sleep aid (or Benadryl).
If you keep having episodes and your
avoiding: alcohol, stress and insomnia,
You should call your pdoc.
