hi guys,

anyone know of a good way to get water out of ears.. i've had some water in my left ear since this morning- and finding it well hard to get rid of.

the majority of it's gone.. but not sure what i can do to get rid of it all

Yes, tilt your head to one side. Sometimes you need to hold it at a certain angle. If you shake your head lightly and try paper too (just a thin strip of paper into your ear, be careful), I'm sure you'll get it out!

If you have ear wax build up it may not go away. Try a ear wax softener.

have used a bit of rubbing alcohol for self and fam members, but no q tips. usu dries water right up, but someimes have to lay still a while w that ear elevated. good luck w that.

agreed and u dont want the water staying in ear causing extra probs

When I was a kid my mom had me lay down to watch t.v. after swimming classes because I'd get water in my ears. That way I wasn't bored as I waited for it to drain out. Just an idea.

Agreed. Most of the commercial "water in the ear" removal kits are just a squirt bottle of rubbing (70% isopropyl alcohol).
