I like Eminem. Evanescensce. Nonpoint and five finger death punch.
I tend to listen to music that mimics how I feel.

Some being fast, hard metal and other times slow, depressive music.

a lot of times I can listen to music that is the opposite of how I feel and it really helps.

Anyone else?

I have a rainy days plAylist that helps when I am down. I have the expendable a, pink, alkaline trio, and a few positive songs. Music has been an integral part of my life since I was a teenager. It makes me feel less alone.

I like all types of music from classical to punk. It just depends on the mood I'm in. I don't think there is any genre of music where I can't find something I like. I love music. I am very in tune with music. All music has value to me.

I try to do the same...upbeat music when I'm down...& calming music when I'm racing. It does seem to help, but I'll admit it's too easy to break this general rule sometimes. Thanks for posting this.

I listen to mellow music now. I'm afraid to listen to real upbeat music (flash backs).

i love Evanescensce

amy lee has an amazing voice- and an amazing range!

if you've ever heard the song " whisper", that 1 may surprise you.. it does not sound like her at the srart- but it is!

love eminem too!

other artists i like are:

torie amos (for her piano playing and her meaningful lyrics)

linken park(because they are just awsome!)

skillet (again, because they are awsome!)

matchbox 20 (mainly because i liked the song "unwell", and then just got hooked on them after that)

rilo kylie (because again, i got hooked after hearing better son/ daughter)

emily autumn (because i thinjk she's a great example of how the mentally ill can really make something of themselves, and because she a song covering just about anything!)

um

enya (because she's good to relax too in the evenings). i like to put her greatists hits album on

oh and 6a.m!. because the leader singer was a drug addict, and so their music is all about their struggle.. and a lot of it is relatable

i like loads of others too (in fact it's easier to ask me what i don't like!). but those are who come to mind

I love music, it's very unusual to see me without some kind of music playing in the background in my house or without my headphones on.
