If someone with bp went clubbing (no drinking)
and dance to hard core (rap, metal etc) music. In the clubs they get an adrenaline rush from the music and atmosphere. Can this cause them to become manic

I think it can attribute but I would think you were already prone to hypomania. (Ie already hypomanic)
Remember adrenaline can make you feel euphoric like your in a manic mood. I wouldn't worry about it unless you find yourself acting a lot different from your normal self. |

I think so. I read somewhere that one of the reasons why lack of sleep can lead into a manic episode is, because of the lack of sleep, adrenaline kicks in to keep us going, and that's (at least in part) what causes the problem. So I think that could apply at least potentially to anything that gets our adrenaline going, though maybe more over a period of time (clubbing regularly, that sort of thing).
