I have really been listening to everyone who has been giving me advice and I really hear everyone and believe that I need to probably be on meds, but what am I supposed to do if I cannot find a shrink who will see me with my dam insurance? everytime I get one something happens and they either leave or my insurance screws up or something!! is this something that my regular dr can adjust??? I don't know I am just so tired of hitting a brick wakll and I am so afraid of trying once again!!!!!

While a pdoc is best a regular dr can prescribe for you they just won't be as knowledgeable and some are totally uncomfortable with psych conditions, most GPs will give out antidepressant but maybe not what you need why not call and find out for sure before you waste your time.

Call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask them who they cover in your area for Psych issues. get names and numbers and call them and find out who can see you soonest.

GP's are just not skilled enough to prescribe psych meds and side effects.

Good luck

Psychcentral has a card thing that can help you save money on prescription drugs too. (In the us)

I can link it when I get on a laptop.
