First the first time in my life, I went fishing. My friend has been trying to get me to go to her family's camp for about 5 years. I finally went, and it was the best thing I could have done. I have been the most peaceful and calm than I have been in years. I love the water, and we were on the Gulf of Mexico. I haven't don't this in almost 20 years, but I started to write poetry again. Basically, if it came into my head I wrote. Here is one of them:

Fragmented thoughts!
Running through my head.
Never a complete idea!
Can't even finish it,

Fragmented thoughts
Flit through my head,
No Rhythm or reason,
just running through my head.

Fragmented thoughts.

It was the first I wrote, and just getting it out helped. I have more, and will post them if ya'll want to read them.

Ain't it amazing, the healing power of nature.

Fishing and hunting are life saving therapy for me.

It was a pleasure to read your post, Jeffro. When something positive happens to a PC member it makes me happy and I want to read all about it. I live near the water and I share your feelings about it. Virtually everything about it comforts me. I'm glad you had such a soothing experience.
I would love to read more of your poetry. There's a forum called Creative Corner; you may want to post there. All my best......grey

Thanks. I will post more, but I'll post them in the creative corner. I love the ocean, and it has always calmed me. I could have stayed there forever. But alas, I need to go to work this morning.
