Hello,

I am new here and wanted to first introduce myself. I'm 28yo wife and mother diagnosed with BPII and PTSD. I may give a better intro sometime later, but for now I feel I just need to reach out.

I've had a bit of a hypo manic last few weeks and have suddenly fallen into a pretty deep feeling of despair. I'm just feeling a lot of pain right now, not particularly associated with anything. I'm just feeling overwhelmed with a sense of failure and defeat. I know this will pass, I just need to reach out.

Hi Sharron, welcome to PC.

I"m sorry you're having a hard time right now. I'm glad you are thinking positively enough to know it will pass. I know that sense of failure and defeat, I feel that a lot. It's terrible. I hope you start to feel better soon.

Sharon, I feel that way every single day, with a few ups and downs too, it's hard to come back from either end of the spectrum, I'm usually down. Just deep breathe alot during the day and take your vitamins, i find that helps alot too.

Thanks to those who responded. I still feel low, but I was able to get out of the house for a run, this helps. I've just restarted therapy after a 9m hiatus, I'm finding it difficult. It's hard opening up old wounds, I find it all very exhausting.

I don't know anyone else with BP or PTSD, so I hope this place will give me an outlet to just feel normal about a life so seemingly abnormal.

Cheers
