Not sure what I should be asking for really? Mood stabilizers? Antipsychotics? Sleeping pills? I know what i've been on before and that it didn't make me feel "better" just not able to feel....

So I don't want to be on what I've been on before. Which was Geodon, trileptal, abilify, seroquel, (not at the same time) and a vast array of sleeping medications.

At the same time, I don't know what good medication will do in my current state. At the moment I'm stable I think. So how will I know if medication is working?

I'm going back on because during finals I was everywhere. And I'm taking an intensive summer course, where there might be a lot of pressure on me again. So i'm trying to mitigate symptoms before they blow way out of whack again.

I think there was a question in there somewhere.

don!t ask for meds... talk of symptoms. Maybe he can find some solution that would not occured to you if you think in terms of particular meds.

since you are in school you probably need something that will not mess with your cognition and memory. Mention this as it's likely important to you.

What I wouldn't give to get off my meds and manage this another way...

How have you managed without meds? Can you continue what you have done? How did you get yourself through finals? Can you use those coping strategies?
