Not sure what the hell's going on. I'm not depressed, but recently I keep getting upset and triggered about my eating. I've been taking my meds regularly now. I have my creativity back, at least. I feel like very soon I may spiral out of control again.

That's true. There's no such thing as "normal". Everybody has problems in life, some just
handle them better than others of us.

I want to mention one word about positive thinking, please: when you "feel like (you)
may spiral out of control again very soon", you are predicting your future. Stop thinking
that way, please. Give yourself at least a chance to be content. Tell yourself instead
that "I am not likely to spiral out of control at all again if I continue to take care of
myself and take medications and watch my diet. When you think in positive ways, you are reinforcing your psyche to live in the positive, not the negative.

Emmet Fox has a little paperback out called "Around The Year With Emmet Fox". It's
one of the best little paperbacks on how to think in ways that will defeat us and
how to change our thinking to positive views that will enable us to feel alive, strong,
and active no matter what.

I'll try to think more positively. Thanks. It's hard sometimes, though.

IMO I fear you worry about your moods too much. I've read your various threads & get the impression you reflect on them all the time; like an obsession. Everyone (BP, or not) has ups & downs. The only time I worry about my moods is when they drag on. You seem to be all over the board. Just live.
Thanks for this!

Keep talking to your pdoc and if you are not seeing a therapist, I would look into one. I agree, try to look at the positive things in life. Ex: I got out of bed this morning. Start small and it will help your perspective change. Best of luck.

I agree with this - you seem to be a little obsessed with every change in mood. It really is normal to have mood changes. As long as they're not extreme or long lasting, don't worry about them. Just let them be.

(no offence intended. I know its hard not to be a little obsessed in the beginning).

Thanks for highlighting the possibility of obsessing about mood changes - I think I too may be guilty.
One just needs to switch off from time to time to allow oneself to live in the NOW.
