Hi. I'm nursing my one year old and want to continue. 15 years ago I was diagnosed with adhd depression and anxiety. Recently, its become clear that I'm actually bipolar. Long story short, I just tried welbutrin on a new general practitioner advice. It made me euphoric and then sick as a dog.

So, is there any feedback on meds from other nursing mothers or others with insight?

Much thanks in advance.

Hi rushore, I just noticed this post. I have not nursed a baby, but I'm on wellbutrin. I understand that meds have different side effects for different people. Were you able to get any information on this? Any help in this area? I noticed that no one responded to this thread...

Does your doctor know you are nursing? This drug is secreted through your breast milk and the complications for your child are not medically known. I wouldn't be breastfeeding if I were you. Someone should have talked to you about this a long time ago.
