Still hypo. Thoughts racing. I have so many ideas, but I can't make them reality yet because the world around me is moving too slow! I've got the mental health art gallery all planned out on paper and I'm itching to fill out the required forms, but I need to wait until frat brothers vote on the idea. I hope it passes. That'll make everything so much easier because a few of the brothers and I are gonna do it anyway even if it isn't through the fraternity. (It's co-ed, by the way, in case there was confusion about that).

I want to do so much art, but I need models for the pieces I want to work on. And they're back in Mississippi (okay, so one of them is doing IOP in Memphis, but the rest are in Misissippi). I have so much energy and creativity at my fingertips but no way to express it at the moment besides fidgeting in my seat and going for runs. I'm fed up with computer programs at the moment because it takes to long to do cool stuff on them.

Any ideas for things I can do to use up my energy and creativity? Going for more testing later with my psychologist/Temp T and have a temp pdoc appointment tomorrow.

I've been there, when everything is so slow you start to get angry about it. Been there! Yup. The worst is things that are normally fast but feel so slow, like an internet page loading. And there's nothing you can do but sit there and snarl at the computer.

Co-ed fraternity? That's interesting! Never heard of that before.

Uhm... creative.... Draw, write (poems, music, songs, books,) paint, crochet, sing, dance... hmmm... go out and collect flowers and put them together and hang them for dried boquets. Or press them in books. Just some ideas.

I'm curious what testing the temp T is doing with you that's different from the one you did before with her. It's so unusual for a therapist to do psychiatric testing, it's not usually within their scope of practice. What does your pdoc think about it?

You sound very excited about the gallery show -maybe this is why you're so hyper? Especially since you're in a kind of limbo between finishing the work and the actual show. I know when I have a project going on that I'm intensely into and excited about I get pretty hyper. If you feel very uncomfortable, sounds like you do, maybe you can do some physical exercise, or work on other pieces now that this show is complete?

Good luck with the gallery! Are you having an opening (party)?

Pen and paper .. write down every word that you know or comes to mind, no order , no sentances , just words .... Go ahead try it , Let me know how many pages you come up with.

4 pages. It's hard to write random words and not repeat or make sentences. Pretty sure I spelled a ton of them wrong.

If you draw you can try to practice poses.

The random word writing is a way to distract... 4 pages is good.

Something similar: try putting random words onto a page as creatively as possible. With only using one pen or pencil. It looks really cool to see how the words go all over the page and all over themselves and how many different ways you can find to write them.
