I do not normally post links to petitions, but this one just has to be posted.

A pregnant woman who found herself in a difficult situation tried to kill herself. She later submitted to all the medical procedures recommended by the doctors, but the baby did not survive. She is now charged with murder and is facing decades and decades in prison. She has already spent some time in prison.

This is not right. The law that is being used against her was passed in order to protect fetuses from THIRD PARTIES who might attack the pregnant mom. The law has never been used against the mom. It really is not right to punish somebody for suicidality SO HARSHLY.

I did not agree with this law when it first came out and certainly not when used like this. She is not the first and will not be the last woman who this law has been used against.

Someone needs to invade Indiana and fix this. Get those religious freaks spread out a little so they don't do crazy stuff like this anymore.

Awful and unfair! How ironic that she came here for opportunity of a better life, and now she much battle for her freedom and be separated from her family.

I can't even begin to say why I think this is so very very wrong.
