The stupid VA system, I have re-order my meds online every month. I forgot and they are on the way, but balls. It's been 36 hrs since I've taken my Celexa or Seroquel, and I feel like I'm off to the effiing races!! Not tired at all, effing pumped even! Two hours ago is my normal bedtime (I work nights), and my last cup of coffee was at 2am, so it's not that. I mean I feel effing great, don't get me wrong, but today's payday, and I'd like to have have some money later. Here's hoping I can control myself! And here's hoping my meds come today!!

I've had the memorable part of
running through my head all morning. I've literally been skipping around "duhduh da la duhduh la duhduhlulala" and so on. Universe help me, this could be a long couple days.

Do you have a doctor that could give you a script for a few pills for each med until they arrive ? You probably will have to pay out of pocket so you don't mess up the insurance. But if it is just a few pills it might be worth it.
I would be bad if this switched you into an episode.
Thanks for this!

Happens to me from time to time.

Very good suggestion above^

Here's what I do when this happens: Urgent care. If you can't get a hold of your psychiatrist or your primary care physician (try them first), drop by any urgent care and they'll write you a prescription for a few days worth of meds.

If you're reading this, and it's still Thursday:

GO. TO. BED.

I will pester you via other forms of communication to until you do.

If you're worried about spending money: why don't you make yourself a shopping list and start it with a date as in: I can buy this stuff sometime in August. Or "I can't but this until it's winter". Then at least you'll have a lot of time to realllllly contemplate whether or not you really want it.

I don't have a credit card, or a problem with overspending, but I have heard of people using this trick during mania: fill a bowl with water, put your credit cards in there, and freeze it. Then, you'll have to wait for the cards to thaw out before you use them. This will help you to control your spending.
