I have a pill box that has "AM" and "PM" on it. I fill it once a week. I have at least 15 scripts so a dr. at the psych hospital last Fall suggested I get one. So, I faithfully fill it.
This morning, I went to fill it and noticed that i have two FULL bottles of Zyprexa! I know I've been taking Zyprexa! I swear! So I look at the bottle and it says, "Take one pill TWO times a day"! So for at least a MONTH I've been taking it at half strength. I knew the color changed but the pharmacy never pointed out that it was different. And today I feel hypomanic. I've also been hallucinating animals that disappear if I try to look closely at them. I can't sit still very well right now. I'm internally restless and want to run and scream. Its uncomfortable. I called and left a message for my pdoc but she hasn't called back. I'm seeing my optometrist in an hour and I just know pdoc will call then.  Oh and I've lost weight. Figures. I hope I don't gain it back. I've been trying to watch my "bored" eating.

Ok well they just called but it was the nurse and I ran everything by her and she's going to run it by the doctor. ugh. That's what I wanted in the first place! She's going to ask if I should put my meds back to two pills like it should've been or keep it at one.

I hope it gets cleared up fast. I hate when the color/shape of meds change it always freaks me out and concerns me.

Well I talked with pdoc. (New one) where my old one refused to lower my dose, now that I accidentally lowered it myself my new pdoc says to just keep it that way! Yay!

So far it has. It's been at least a month. All I know is I have a ton of pills.

I lost over 60 lbs. after going off Zyprexa.
 I loved what the drug did for me, but I didn't love the 20+ pound weight gain in six weeks' time, and I didn't appreciate seeing my blood sugars roaring out of control. YMMV, but your appetite should decrease with the lower dose.
