I'm going through a lot right now and have had to increase my dose of risperdal. Anybody else on it and how do you cope with the constant hunger?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Passionskyy. I was taking Risperdal for my schizophrenia. The doc switched me to Invega. So far , I haven't had any trouble. I really didn't take the Risperdal long enough to notice anything wrong. I have gained weight taking the Invega. About 20 lbs. My General Practitioner told me to lose 10 lbs. I'm doing my best. One thing that helps is to drink a whole glass of water before you eat. Cut down on the portions too. It's working for me. I've lost 4 lbs in 3 days. Then gained it back in 1 day. It's frustrating.
