Yep ! I feel a big snap coming on. My Insomnia is out of control .. I have slept a total of maybe 14 hours out of the last 2 weeks, Hallucinations are increasing ten fold ....

I'm in a ugly-ish mixed episode .. My B1tch O Meter is on the rise. Yes I have tried all the typical remedies , took doubles of things to hopefully knock me out.. Yet here I sit wired to the max.

Those of you that know me ... know this is a common problem .. This is when I would sell my first born for a good ole dose of Depression just so I could sleep.

Yes I see my Pdoc Monday... I am thinking its time to switch to a vet and get a horse tranquilizer .. Altho I doubt that would even help.

Its 245am I live in the country Im going for a walk in the pitch blankness I can only hope to fall down hard enough to knock myself out !

Someone take a nap for me. Thank you !

/end rant!

Good luck with the sleep. I just got back from an impromptu late night run. Calmed me down a little.

I read your opinion on it before and I know you don't like it, but it might be time for some Seroquel.

Hey Christina,

I know we aren't always the most stable of people, mood wise, and i've just had a summer where it seems like i've had 3 hours sleep in 6 months.

But you are a great person and this is the illness and NOT you. You are lovely and shiney so please try not to forget that? x

Ok. Christina, close your eyes and just ignore this frying pan I'm holding in my hands... ok????

It'll help. I promise.

You probably didn't think of it because you probably didn't think it was the MOST excellent idea ever when watching Roger Rabbit as a kid...

((Honestly, I suppose my sleep habits have alllllwaaayyyssss been messed because I really DO think it's the most brilliant idea ever. I was so jealous that Roger got a good night's sleep from the frying pan!))

I can borrow you my book of European History 1648-1914.

It's written in such dry and boring way it always made me fall asleep when I studied for my state exam, regardless my insomnia.

Maybe it will work.

Brilliant idea Venus! Hemmingway is my insomnia's kryptonite. I keep a copy just for that reason....

Virginia Woolf's "A Room of Her Own" was my book of sleep.

I couldn't get past the first 30 pages. It's the ONLY book that I've tried, and failed, to read more than once. I simply could NOT do it.

You guys are fantastic ! This whole situation has me beyond pissed. I have had to deal with this hellish creature known as Insomnia since I was 11-12 ...

Seeing my Pdoc tomorrow for an emergency visit.. He knows I have no intention of going in patient for this kinda crap.. Inpatient here means loads of group therapy and crap .. I dont need to sit in group group , I need sleep , sleep alone will fix me.

You all have made me laugh ! Skillets , rhino meds and boring boring books LOL this is why I adore you all

I hate to be such a whiney B2itch but its really had to not be under theses situations !

Your entertainment is our pleasure

At least it's mine. I like our ideas too.

No one can say that bipolar peeps aren't creative in finding solutions

That sort of immanent doom feeling is the worst. Hang tight...pdoc is on the way... just one hour at a time, or even on minute if need be. Distract yourself, use your grounding skills if you can. Sounds weird, but hold an ice cube in your hand and focus on that if you need a short-term thing to do. hugs.
