Hi guys,

How are you all doing? I am so sorry I haven't been on here much I have been moving into my own wee flat and have been stressed but am now calm :-)

I am just wondering if anyone possibly only for the UK'er's on here have ever heard of or have seen a Community Support Worker???

I have a kinda assessment next Monday with one. I met her today when I went to see my CPN (Community Psychiatric Nurse) She is going to help me just a wee while I think until I am completely settled in the flat. I just don't want to relapse. I have been on my meds now for 11 solid months :-D *happy dance* So I am DETERMINED to stay medicated and to stay happy and healthy. I am looking to next year as I am planning on getting a job I need my life back and I am getting there slowly and I am happy. For the first time in months I can say I truly am HAPPY :-D

I've not seen one, but have heard of them. To my knowledge they help with more practical stuff like helping you go out if you struggle with that, and chatting about what's going on. You should clarify though at the assessment to make sure it will be beneficial to you.

Good luck in your new place

Thanks for this!
